Feel The Earth Holding You

Andrea is a gifted forest therapy guide who brings heart, mind and soul to her offerings.
- Danielle Rolfe, Soul Space Ottawa

Introducing a special Autumn 2024 Walk Series for women! First walk September 29th.

The end of a marriage or long-term relationship can leave a person feeling hollowed out, exhausted and alone. It’s one of the most stressful personal crises we can experience.

I know. My marriage ended in 2020.
Grieving, picking up the pieces and beginning again requires us to dig deep and draw on all our courage and resources. That includes finding the people and practices to support us as we create a new life and find joy again.

I’ve been lifted up by dear friends, and by returning again and again to the healing power of nature. There is a grandmother oak tree I visit, and when I rest my back against her trunk, I immediately feel the tension slip out of my body.  Nature has offered me peace, quieting my spinning thoughts and bringing a feeling of lightness and fresh energy.

So I find it especially meaningful to offer this special series of Nature Immersion sessions.

This is not group therapy and I am not a therapist. In this practice, we consider nature to be the therapist. As with all my walks, I'll offer gentle guidance to support you in accessing the healing power of nature and I'll hold space for those who wish to share any insights that arise during the experience.

Sign up to experience the magic of the first walk and then register for the rest of the series.

The core of this walk series is the practice of Nature & Forest Therapy. The third and fourth sessions will include additional inspiration and practices that help us navigate challenging times and take care of our tender hearts. (Click here to learn more about me and my work.)

Who is this for?
Women navigating a new life after the end of a marriage or long-term relationship, whether it was recent or years ago. You do not need to be super fit – we move slowly over easy terrain, usually no more than 2 kilometers, and we pause often.

Schedule:

Sunday, September 29, 2:00 to 4:30pm (sign up for this walk first)
Saturday, October 5, 2:00 to 4:30pm
Sunday, October 20, 2:00 to 5pm
Saturday, October 26, 2:00 to 5pm

Register for Sept. 29 Session

Andrea’s sensitive guidance enabled me to appreciate the beauty and restorative healing of nature on a very personal level.
I came away from each experience
feeling calm, relaxed and rejuvenated.
